This comes a year too late but thought it will be useful to summarize 2010 for you
1. Barack Obama was the President of USA.
2. Manmohan Singh was the prime minister of India
3. The economy of the US was looking slightly better
4. There was a massive Oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico
5. Facebook was the hottest social networking site. Yes your Mommy was hooked on it :)
6. The Eyjafjallajokul volcano in Iceland erupted
7. Ipad was the most wanted tablet 
8. The era of smart phones was just peaking
9. India unveiled the new rupee symbol
10. The LA Lakers won the NBA title
11. Green Bay packers were the NFL champions for the 2010 season...though technically they won in 2011.


am sure theres lots more to add ....will keep doing so as and when I remember...but gives you a good picture of the world you were born in.
