Remembered for our antics, and revived by our friends
Above all, our friendship has grown through memories we’ve created
From Cowboys and Mavs, and the Lone Star state
To the ocean and beaches, of California state
We’ve played and danced and worked and shared
An exciting life, balanced and fair
And, one cherished day, as we awaited summer
Arrived a precious tot, innocent and blissful as ever
An epitome of his father, and a believer as his mother
He revealed our new lives; he is a gift, a treasure
Here’s to you, Varun, as we watch you nurture
For taking us from one paradigm to another
