Holding you in my arms on Nov 26th made me realize how much the heart can expand to include another precious addition to our family!

This blog is where I have captured your brother,Varun dada's moments so far and I am so happy that you are now part of this too!

So going forward its going to be maaboyandgirl and we will retire maaboy....

Halloween 2013

Varun was Batman this year for Halloween. His school had a carnival which is where most of the pics where taken. His Nani and Nana got to enjoy the fun activities on that day as well.

Seattle-Portland trip

Varun took a fun trip with his friend Aayush to Portland and Seattle. While it was a great trip for us grown ups...it was a super trip for the kiddos.

Varun and Appu went on a train ride to the petting zoo. They had a lot of fun...the train ride, feeding the animals, horse ride...

Thank you Fini Aunty!

Varun started pre-school this week. Happy to report that it was a good transition. No tears and a lot of excitement!
Varun has come a long way from his stranger anxiety days!

Also brings me to the point of this post. To thank the awesome Fini Aunty who took care of him for the past two years.
We could not have gotten better care for him. She fostered his growth, loved him like a grandma and gave him a loving environment to flourish in.

In the age of digital pics, I dont have one to post of the two of them. But I have the parting gift Aunty gave Varun, an album of pictures of the time he spent at his daycare which I will continue to show him and personally cherish as the years go by!

Thank you Aunty,we love you!

At the SD Fair-2013

Varun had a blast at the fair. He enjoyed all the rides and wouldnt want to leave and took a lot of coaxing to get him out of there. Here are some videos of his day that the SD fair.

saturday afternoon was car wash time and Varun diligently cleaned the car...atleast one chore he likes to do!!

Winston the caterpillar

Varun scavenged through mud and grass and got himself a caterpillar the other day!
He was named Winston. Winston spent a good hour at our home until it was time for Winston to go home to his Mumma and Varun dutifully put him back where he found him so that his Mumma could feed him lunch!

he is enjoying cycling...still needs to be pushed a bit but he is getting there

Holi Hai!

Varun celebrated his first holi. He was ecstatic to have his favorite color purple all over him!

Seems like just yesterday I held you in my arms for the first time and look at you today; a little boy with a mind of his own!Seeing you grow each year will never stop amazing me.
