Varun went to a railway museum to meet Thomas. took a train ride, saw Sir Toppenhat and many engines.

Varun enjoyed diwali this year. He loved helping mommy light the diyas. Lighting the sparkler was his favorite part!

Obsessions!

Varun seems to focus on a few things at a time in such intensity that you are amazed at how many details he can find in a simple object.

Here are his current obsessions.

1. Cooker- this one has lasted for almost 6 months now. The cooker is his sole property , if you dare it take from him, be ready to hear an earful!
2. Spiders/Spiderwebs - he goes out on a spider finding mission every other day, sometime going back to the place where he had seen a web few days back. He can watch a web for a very long time especially if a spider is making the web
3. Flags - He can spot a flag from a distance.Be it the US flag or any other. Btw, there are 18 flags from his daycare to home! and he will keep pointing those out.
4. Clocks - Loves to see all the various kinds of clocks. round,square and any shape. He will look and observe each one...tick tock tick tock!

Safaai Pasand!

Yes, he loves cleaning. One of his favorite activities is taking the broom and cleaning the street behind.

Fun day hiking

Varun went to a hike last weekend and spent a long time next to a pond throwing stones.
It took us a lot of coaxing to make him leave. He did through a mini tantrum but eventually relented.

 A COOKER! yes! thats his favorite pass time these days. Yesterday he took a bath with it, wouldnt sleep without it. Today morning he wanted to take it to the daycare with him. No brownies on guessing what happened when I took it away from him!

Easter egg hunt

Varun went on a egg hunt this easter and was busy collecting those throughout the time we were there!
and enjoyed eating the candy in the eggs later on!

After a hiatus..

Mamma was on a blogging break for a month or so. Well life has been busy and yes Varun is two years old now!
But am back with another video where a simple gesture makes my lil one( officially a pre-schooler now!) go hysterical!!

kya ho gaya = he says this very lucidly and not sure if it fits the context all the time

Most importantly,when I hear "mamma" ,it washes away all my stress and tiredness!!

With the ducks at the SD Safari Park!

Varun couldn't get enough of the ducks at the Safari Park! He was so excited being around them that we had a major meltdown taking him away. Thankfully we stopped taking the video before the meltdown occurred :)
